SEMESTER ONE
Section A  -     The image and creative camera

Introduction to the photographic image and techniques of the photographer. Receive a fundamental grounding in colour photography and creative camera control
Section B  -     Light and the Digital image

Continue to explore the creative expression of the camera. Students are shown how to heighten image expression with light control, subject elements and viewpoint.

 
SEMESTER TWO
Section A -     Black and white photography

A practical introduction to creative black&white images and the darkroom, giving you the knowledge and practical skills to confidently produce quality black and white prints.
Section B -      Advanced Photography

Advanced Light and Image   -     In depth tuition emphasized to take students through advanced image elements.

Advanced Digital    -      Practical workshops on digital workflow and creative image enhancement.
SEMESTER THREE

Section A   -     Photography Business Setup and Operation

Informative program that guides students through the professional skills required to setup and operate your wedding and portrait business.  Step by step career guidance, setting up, pricing, operating and  promotion.

Section B  -  Professional Digital Production

Additional to core course elements, you will have practical workshops focusing on  production of your  Final Digital Folio.  Your folio is aimed to be a reflection of your photography skills and direction forward as you start your photography career.
