  Digital Photography - Concept to Completion

 

The Digital Photography  level 2 - concept to completion short course
is designed for those who want to take their understanding of digital
photography to the next level with a practical outcome.  
The aim of the course is to take you from image concept, using
Adobe Lightroom  image processing and Photoshop image
enhancement to produce 2 mounted wall prints. 
A maximum of 12 students per class allows you to receive more
individual image feedback, this is vital to the improvement of your photos.
      

    10 lessons   
    One night class per week  
    Class times - 6.30 to 8.30pm  
    Starting level : follow on from Level 1 short course   
    Maximum of 12 Students per class   
     
 Course Structure  

Lesson 1 - Digital Overview
Basic digital, workflow, concept to completion.
Lesson 2 - Lightroom 1
Import and setup, collections, sorting, selection, Meta tags and export presets.
Lesson 3 - Lightroom 2
Library, Develop - crop, colour, b&w, image effects, workflow export presets.
Lesson 4 - Photoshop Elements & Photoshop
Photoshop elements 7, Photoshop CS4, workflow, export.
Lesson 5 - Photoshop - top 10  thing to learn
Top 10 things to learn - improve your images.
Lesson 6 - Photoshop - Image enhancement
Basic  to creative HD images.
Lesson 7 - Photoshop - Image enhancement
Retouching and image quality control.
Lesson 8 - Photoshop  Image Layout
Concept to Completion , layout ideas, Photoshop image and text layout.
Lesson 9 - Photoshop  Image Layout
Finalise image  layout output. 
Lesson 10 - Gallery Exhibition
Unveiling of students work and at the end of the night students
get to take home their mounted wall prints.*

The college will then produce the final display images for students to keep.*

Images will be printed at a professional lab, prints will then be mounted
on a borderless mount ready for display in lesson 10.
